Enjoying the weather

My boys love to be outside, doing anything really.  Soccer, golf, basketball, swinging, digging, looking at trees, biking, running...the list could go on and on.  Most days after nap and school we head out to the backyard to dig.  Will got this great digger for Christmas and it has gotten lots of use since then.  Cooper of course "needs" to be on there and Will is so kind to give him the help he needs.

Most days digging leads to soccer.  Today Will wanted to practice kicking his ball in the air.  I don't know if that is an actual soccer skill but he wanted to master it.  Cooper quickly jumped into his role as cheerleader.  He screams "Woo Go Wool", cheering isn't complete without the double arm wave.

Here is the picture of his air ball.  He requested I take pictures of this.  I'm sure with a little editing I could make this a great pic but this will just have to do.  He was loving this.  I would snap a few and he would run over and see what they looked like.  Fun day!

Touch a Truck

Touch a Truck is like a National Holliday around here!  Will has been going for years and this was Cooper's first year getting on trucks.  We always go early for quiet hour, 50 honking trucks is not my idea of fun! So favorites this year were the helicopter, cranes and anything with a flashing light!  I enjoyed spending some truck time with my boys!

Hanging out in the OHP Helicopter

Postal Truck

Loving the hat!

Will was very excited to find something with two steering wheels so Coop could drive with him.  Such a kind heart!

Working on some sort of Army cannon here.  The gentlemen were so nice and showed him exactly how to use it! I love how hands on this event is.

OKC Marathon

Today Will participated in the OKC Memorial Kids Marathon.  He completed 15 miles at school and 10 miles at home, he finished his 1.2 miles this morning for 26.2 miles.  He loved it!  Will's school had a group of almost 100 running.  I am so proud of him and I would say he is a born runner, he would have kept right on running past the finish line if I would have let them.  Will you are AWESOME!  We are so proud of you!

Check out that smile!

Cooper had to have his picture taken!

Love you little runner!  It's a date for next year too!

Soccer Days

Go Lions!!!

Yep you heard it right! Go Lions! And if you are in Norman on Saturday you will hear Will's Mom screaming it! Yep you heard it right, I've turned into a...

Wait for it...

A SOCCER MOM! And I'm loving it. I consider myself offically a soccer mom because I have soccer jewelery. That's right jewelery. Who thought it would come to this.

Either way we are loving Saturday Soccer. Will is a rockstar and Cooper, well he crys because he can't play.

As we are heading into the last few weeks we are thankful for the time with our soccer buddies, their wonderful families and a shout out to Coach Mark. He is a kind and gentle man with those boys, they all became fast friends with him. We are looking forward to fall soccer with our little team. Go Lions!

Go Will! Hustle!

Happy Easter

We celebrated Easter with family and friends this year. Our day was filled with Easter Baskets, egg hunts, family dinners and one of the best worship services I have heard in a while. My day reminded me how blessed we are, sharing the story of Easter with Will and Cooper just warms my heart. Will obviously understand more than Cooper. Cooper is still convinced that Noah's wife from the Big Boat Book is Jesus. :) Either way he is hearing is. Will is just able to share with me about it, what it means to us, and what happened. Will's "what does Easter mean to you" painting from school was just three simple crosses. The death of our Savior was on his heart this season. He is growing in Christ, I am so proud.

Will enjoyed climbing trees at the egg hunt. You could see a proud smile and a fearful frown all within seconds of each other.

Love this sweet boy and his hair. Between watching all the kids, seeing a tractor and a barking dog he was just loving it.

Oh the sweet ducks. Cooper refused to tear his bread into pieces, if he had better aim he totally could have hurt a duck. ;)

I asked them to stand by each other for a picture, apparently close means not touching.

Oh Sweet Cooper. He picked up and drpped the same eggs for 5 minutes. He was traveling in a little circle like a dog chasing his tail!

Woo Hoo! Goodies inside!

Ready Set Go!!!

Love you Cooper Ryan!

Happy Easter from the Hyde Family 4!
