OU Baseball

Last week our friends the Rhea's invited us to join them for baseball and dinner, we couldn't resist.  We all had a wonderful time. Cooper and Ethan are 2 days apart so they are two peas in a pod.  Sarah and Shawn are wonderful down to earth people, whose company we love.  Thanks Rhea's let's do it again soon!

Will's friend and soccer teammate Brett was there.  Brett's dad is a coach, they are a precious little family, we love you Thomas'. The boys enjoyed running around and sliding down the rails.

Oh my! Oh my! Oh Dinosaurs!

It's the first Monday of the month, which for me and my guys means a trip to the Sam Noble.  Oh the Sam Noble.  We really do love that place, although not for the dinosaurs.  The boys love the exhibits upstairs that show different areas of Oklahoma.  The cave is always a highlight as well as the boat.  The boys love that there are so many things they can touch, from the animal skins to the drawers that open with goodies inside.  Cooper is really starting to enjoy going, this was only his second time without a stroller.  He did run often but he's learning.  He is just so eager to get to the next thing.  You should have seen his little head, he was turning and looking at everything, you could see he was having a hard time knowing what to stop and do.  Will was an awesome big brother, helping open things for Cooper and even picking him up to see things.  Thanks Will.  See you in a month Sam Noble.

#1 Fan

Cooper is by far Will's #1 fan.  Cooper is a fan of Will's no matter what he does.  He repeats words Will says, he follows him around the house and he crys if Will is gone. 

I didn't know how this soccer season would go.  I was fearful there would be lots of crying, and believe me there was. but for the most part Cooper understood he wasn't there to play.  Before the game Cooper is quick to get on the field and help warm up and during the game he plays behind our seats with an extra ball.  I'm looking forward to the day when he can get out and play on his own.  Thanks Cooper for being an awesome little brother.

Friends

Friends.  We have lots of different friends.  We have soccer friends, church friends, new friends, old friends (Hi Alicia), school friends, park friends, BSF friends, friends of friends, family friends, lake friends, Mom's friends, Dad's friends...WOW! how lucky are we.  God has blessed our family with many friends.  Some have been around forever and know our life story (Hi Roomie) and some friends are new.  We love them all. 

A few Saturdays this soccer season we were blessed with friends.  Taking time out of a Saturday to watch a 5 year old play soccer (really to watch Coach Mark herd cats) is a sign of true friendship. Lynlee, Rae and Hud were so sweet to come cheer Will on.  He was beyond excited and couldn't wait for them to get there.

Cooper had to join the crowd.  He loves Hud and Rae.  We can't leave BSF without giving them each a hi-5.  Then he wants Rae to hold his hand to the car.  It's really sweet.

Best Part of the Day

What's the best part of your day?  Mine would have to be a toss up between alone time with any of my three boys.  I get special time with each of them and I adore those moments.  Will would probably say the mintue his feet hit the floor in the morning.  Cooper would say his favorite part of the day is when Will comes home from school.  Even though its only two days, he misses Will terribly.  This is out conversation all Tuesday and Thursday:

 Cooper "Wool??" 

 Mom: "Will's at school" 

Cooper "Dada"

Mom: "Dada's at work"

Repeat 50 times.  :)

Mark picks Will up since pick up cuts into Cooper's nap but as soon as he is awake we run outside and we wait.

Spring Painting

We needed a fun spring art project to do for school, Will had been studying plants so flowers and pots seemed perfect.  We enjoyed spending the time outside and exploring our creative sides.  The boys worked well together.  I so enjoy getting to spend time with the boys during the day and watch them grow and learn.

This sweet paint plate started with 7-10 seperate colors, that lasted about 2 seconds!

I love how paiting the bottome was a HUGE deal.  If you are ever on our porch flip our pots over, they look fantastic.

Cooper's special flower and pot!  He enjoyed the painting and planting but don't let him near the water hose. 

Will choose the purple flower, which didn't surprise me at all.  Enjoyed the special time guys!
