Please choose a Pappy

Will loved his pappy. Will and his pappy went every together. I used to complain about the pappy; finding them, keeping them, cleaning them, all things pappy I really didn't like. Oh how silly was I, I would give Cooper anything if he would just take a pappy.
I have bought ALL the different kids, Nuk, Soothie, Mam, Avent, Gerber; you name it I have it. He doesn't want it, he won't take it and now he is actually screaming when you put it in your mouth. Now if he begin to chewing on them himself all is ok but soothing himself with one is just not an option. I am sure one day when I am not taking the pappy away I will be thankful but right now I am just jealous of every mom I see with a baby who is sucking their pappy.
One quick side note, Happy Anniversary to my sweet parents who today are celebrating their 30th Wedding Anniversary. Mom and Dad I am so excited for you all and wish you were celebrating in a fabulous hotel but I am glad you are at home celebrating together and not in a hospital. You guys are wonderful parents and I am blessed to have you as an example of a soild and loving marriage. Love you both.

My Sister comes Tomorrow

Yep thats right, my sister comes tomorrow. I am so excited and so is Will. We needed to go to Sams tonight, well I asked Will if he wanted to go to Sams with me or stay home. He chose to go, when we got in the car he wanted a movie since we were going to MooMa's. I let him know we were going to Sams not to see Sam, he said ok and I parked. As we were getting out he asked, "so Sam will meet us here?", no Will she won't she will be here tomorrow. But this is Sams, yes it is Sams but its not Aunt Sams. I tried to explain how Sams but just a name and it was just like Target. He disagreed because at Target you get popcorn. At this point I cut my losses and started talking about what juice we should get. So needless to say he is excited to see Sam and so am I. Drive safely sister.

Brotherly Love

Will is the best big brother ever. He loves Cooper and is so interested in everything that is Cooper. We were at Gymboree last week, during parachute time Will asked to hold him. There they sat, Cooper in Will's lap and Will with his arms wrapped tightly around his brother. Will was even doing the hand motions to the songs so Cooper could see. It was the most precious thing ever, all the other mommys were jealous.
Just a quick shout out to some other readers, Sam and Grandpa - Glad you are reading!

Tuesdays

Tuesdays are Bible Study days at our house. We all get rounded up and out of the house by 9:15 and head to church. This was the last week in our study of Ruth and next week we will be working in the food pantry. The food panty, clothes closet, well all of the Community Minisrty, has been heavy on my heart for a while. I want to do so many things but just feel like I can't. I refuse to allow the "season of life" I am in be an excuse. I want the boys to grow up knowing how to serve others and that by serving others we are doing exactly what Jesus wants us to do. Friday is the Community Ministry Banquet, we are all going as a family and I am looking forward to learning more and seeing what other opportunities there are for our little family to serve. On another note our new Bible Study will be Calm my Anxious Heart, should be good.
