Stromboli Roll

We tried a new dish tonight and I thought I would share:

1(13.2 oz) tube of Italian Bread (I used two cans of Italian Breadsticks)
8oz. mozzarella
4oz. pepperoni
4oz. sliced ham
1 cup drained roasted red peppers
2 cups cooked green beans, patted dry
4 oz salami
1 Tsp. Oregano

Preheat oven to 350. Line baking sheet with parchment paper or foil.

Unroll dough from one can, be careful not to stretch the dough. Layer ingredients down the length of dough, in the following order: half of mozzarella, pepperoni, ham, peppers, green beans and salami. Finish with mozarella. Sprinkle oregano on cheese.

Unroll and stretch the other can of dough. Place dough over the toppings. Pinch edges together and cut 3 slits in the top for ventilation.

Bake until puffed and golden brown, 35to 40 minutes. Let cool 5 to 10 minutes before serving.

And there you have it. We really enjoyed this and it was super easy. Enjoy!

Sickly

Our little baby boy is sick today. He woke up at about 2AM not feeling well with a 102 fever. We tried to just let it ride its course but at 7AM we finally got him some Motrin. The medicine helped and brought his fever back down to 99. I thought everything was ok. He really wasn't eating or drinking anything at lunch and soon after his fever was back up to 102.6. I called the doctor and scheduled and appointment for 4PM. Martha saw us at the doctors office and said she thinks he has the stomach virus. His fever was 103.6 at the doctor and he was crying like crazy. After some Pedilyte...lots of it and a lite dinner. Will's fever is almost back to normal and he is upstairs sleeping now. It was a long and scary day but it looks to be coming to an end. Hopefully tomorrow will be better and Will will be back to normal. Thank you Alicia and Merideth for the calls, thoughts and prayers.

Happy Birthday Will

Will turned 1 on February 9th. We threw him a Barnyard Bash! We had about 6 little ones there to share in the celebration. Bubbles were a bit hit at the party. We wish other could have been there (Abigail and Kaden) cause the cake was fabulous. It was in the shape of a #1. Will had his own cake and was so neat about eating it. We used simple decorations, I made Will a banner that had 3 pictures from each of the months since birth. It was so neat to look and see how he has changed in a year. (Alicia I have the template, you have to do one for Abigail)

Zoo

We took Will to the Zoo and he loved it. This was back in November but it is nerver to late to post something...right?
