Soccer has started

Let the fun begin. Our first game is under out belt and not that anyone was keeping score but we did WIN! I have never laughed so hard. Despite the cold temperture and wind the boys got out there and had a ball. The girls on the other hand weren't quite as into it. All in all it was a fun time and Will really enjoyed himself. After practice his one comment was "make Dad stop talking so we can play", needless to say he loved the game, very little coaching. :) Just a few adults yelling , OTHER GOAL! :) So fun, I am looking foward to years of soccer.

Almost there Will

Will's First GOAL!!!! It was so cold I put Cooper's baby legs under his shorts and pull a hat out of the closet. GO WILL GO!! I will admit I hollered a little more that I thought I would.
A little pep talk from Coach Mark, he's the one running up and down the field with a cup of coffee in his hands. Bless that man!

Couldn't have a soccer post without the biggest fan. We set Cooper up in the truck and a grandparent, it was way too cold for this little guy!

Will makes a cake

When we were stuck in the house with the snow, we made lots of treats. While Will was napping I baked a cake. After nap he got to work icing. He did a great job putting the icing on the cake and not eating it all, which is the hardest part. I am so glad that he enjoys working with me in the kitchen. Love you little chef.

Thunder Up

Do people say that?!?!? Well either way I just did.

A few weeks ago we ventured out to a Thunder game. Our church had extra seats and we thought it would be a fun time. We went with 5 other familes and really enjoyed it. I have to say sitting were we had to sit was awful but in the end it was a fun night.
Mark and I finally have a new photo together.
Cooper wore his ear plugs all night and even took a nap...only a Hyde boy can sleep through that.
Will is going through a "don't take my picture phase".
Cooper loved it. Mark loved it.

Show me the MENU!

Will got these great magnetic letters for his birthday and while I cook we work with them. We decided that he could spell the words of the things we were having for dinner. He was so excited he wanted to spell with the letters and then make a menu for every person. I love that he has something to do while I cook plus he is learning. You can find these letters at Michaels and if you use one of the coupons from the Sunday paper you can get them for $6 or so. Enjoy!

Summer here we come!

We have been loving the warmer weather. Everyday after nap you can find us on a walk, the fresh air does us all good. I am looking forward to family walks after dinner and morning playtime in the backyard. By August I will be ready for fall and football but now I am welcoming the sun! Bring it on!

Pioneer Woman

Friday we all got together and headed out ot Hastings to see The Pioneer Woman. It was a fun night of girl time. Ree is so sweet and a pleasure to talk to, we even met some great people in line. Overall it was a fun experience and I can't wait for her next cookbook!

A Hyde Family Valentines

Valentine's at the Hyde house is simple and real. Gifts are exchanged but they must be a "need" item and homemade snacks are a must. A few days prior a flyer came in the mail for a heart shaped pizza, I was instantly sold. Will and I had found a fun recipe for heart cookie cakes and he and I went to work after nap. Hyde Boys I love you, all three of you.

Post 200

200 Posts? Wow that seems like a lot. I know for some blogs that is what they do in 6 months, but still years later post 200 is still important.

So for post 200 I thought I would post about something very special:

William Mark Hyde III turns 4!

Who can turn 4 without a super cute Toy Story cake. So yummy!

Will agrees, yummy!

Ha Ha! I love this face.
The big 4.
It was a snow day on Will's birthday which meant everyone was home but it also meant we had nothing to do. I thought this would entertain us for a while, I was wrong.
Opening presents and getting some help from Cooper. Will LOVES to cook in his kitchen and loved his cookie set. He is one great Construction Fire Chief Chef.

Balloons and presents, even with snow, it was a fun and special day.
